Our wine making process:
The Gulrajani Estate wines are crafted with minimal intervention to showcase the power and intensity of the fruit. We age our wines for three years in barrel to integrate the flavors and at least another two years in bottle to create a luxurious texture.
We offer a Gulrajani wine flight at our sister property, Nicholson Ranch winery, located at 4200 Napa Rd, Sonoma.
Narasimha
YOUNTVILLE, NAPA VALLEY
Narasimha is the mythological lion-man avatar from the Hindu pantheon. This wine is a blend of Cabernet and Sangiovese. The Cabernet brings power and structure and the Sangiovese adds finesse and aroma. Both grapes showcase the hillside terroir of our Yountville estate. The volcanic hillside is speckled with shale allowing the roots to go deep in search of nutrients and minerals.
The wine is made with minimal intervention to showcase the power, intensity and aroma of the fruit. We age this wine for a minimum of five years to integrate the flavors and smooth the tannins.

Cabernet Sauvingnon
YOUNTVILLE, NAPA VALLEY
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on our estate in Yountville on the east facing slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. The morning sun accentuates the flavors and structure of the wine grapes, while the afternoon shade keeps natural acidity, providing a fine balance to the resulting wine. The volcanic hillside is speckled with shale allowing the roots to go deep in search of nutrients and minerals.

Sanjaya
YOUNTVILLE, NAPA VALLEY
I named this wine Sanjaya (victory in Hindi) because it is primarily made of Sangiovese blended with Cabernet Sauvignon. The Sangiovese brings floral aromas, fruit flavors and a soft texture. Cabernet adds depth and structure to the wine. Both grapes showcase the hillside terroir of our Yountville estate. The volcanic hillside is speckled with shale allowing the roots to go deep in search of nutrients and minerals.
